Why Not Appoint Afridi as Captain for Twenty20 World Cup

PCB need to not waste anymore time in announcing the name of knowledgeable all-rounder Shahid Afridi as the captain to the forthcoming Twenty20 Globe Cup within the West Indies subsequent month, feels former skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq.

Inzamam, Pakistan’s most capped player with over 400 Check and international appearances, stated Afridi is country’s greatest player from the shorter format from the game and has time and again proved his mettle.

Former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq on Saturday slammed the Pakistan Cricket Aboard for not awarding central contracts to senior avid gamers Muhammad Yousuf and Younus Khan.

Both the players have been lately banned for indefinite time period by the Panel on disciplinary count.

Inzamam, probably the most capped player for Pakistan, mentioned he was disappointed on the way the board treated the senior players.

“It will be the aboard and that is displaying disrespect to the players. When there's no living ban on Yousuf or Younus then why not give them central contracts?,” he fumed

“You don’t discover avid gamers with the calibre of Yousuf or Younus everyday or overnight. They're quality game enthusiasts and Pakistan still requires them. The panel has not even bothered to reveal the particulars of the charges against these two while planning about banning them,” he additional.
